CDL Driver Recruiter

Join Reveille Trucking, Inc. in a hybrid role supporting CDL Class A hiring from outreach to orientation.

Responsibilities

• Source, recruit, and hire qualified CDL Class A drivers to meet staffing needs
• Manage the applicant journey from first contact through orientation
• Promote open CDL positions across Indeed, Facebook, Craigslist, and other recruiting platforms
• Conduct phone interviews and run pre-screening for candidates
• Maintain frequent candidate follow-up using calls, text, and email
• Develop relationships with CDL schools, referral sources, and industry contacts
• Track recruiting metrics and use data to continuously improve hiring outcomes
• Partner with operations to understand and respond to current hiring requirements

Requirements

• Previous recruiting experience, with transportation industry preferred
• Strong communication and sales skills
• Self-motivated approach and ability to work independently
• Organized, detail-oriented work style
• Comfort using recruiting software, social media, and online job boards
• Ability to build trust and form long-term relationships with drivers
