Recruiting Specialist

Gully Transportation is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to join our team onsite in Quincy, IL. This role offers a competitive salary of $50,000 to $70,000 per year and a benefits package that includes 401(k) and 401(k) matching, dental, health, and vision insurance, and paid time off. You will own the full cycle recruitment for company drivers, guiding candidates from first contact through to hire, while preserving a positive candidate experience at every step.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full cycle recruitment for company drivers, from posting roles to interviewing and finalizing hires.
• Engage with potential drivers online and offline, screen applications, and support hiring managers.
• Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Lead driver recruitment across multiple advertising channels and lead-generation efforts.
• Coordinate sourcing and advertising for openings and maintain a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the local driver labor market and trends.
• Partner with operations to identify staffing needs and requirements, and contribute to driver retention initiatives.
• Cultivate relationships with drivers via social media, phone outreach, and in-person interactions.
• Ensure DOT compliance is observed during recruitment and hiring activities.
• Adhere to all federal and state laws and regulations with respect for cultural differences in the recruitment process.
• Review weekly driver performance reports to inform talent decisions.

• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Recruiting experience of 1 year is preferred.
