Job Description
Palisades Tahoe seeks a Recruiting Specialist to manage onsite HR recruiting operations, onboarding, and staffing analytics in Olympic Valley, CA.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategy and end-to-end administration of domestic recruiting operations.
- Develop recruiting strategies in collaboration with the Alterra talent acquisition team.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to support recruiting objectives, including seasonal ad concepts and manager requests for hard-to-fill roles.
- Manage corporate profiles on LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor.
- Oversee the marketing liaison calendar and related business planning.
- Jointly manage the annual recruiting budget and approve monthly spend with the Alterra talent acquisition team and external partners as needed.
- Provide accurate information about employment opportunities, policies, events, and business operations at Palisades Tahoe.
- Follow up with hiring teams to ensure timely candidate review processes.
- Maintain job boards, requisitions, and overall recruiting strategy in partnership with the Alterra Mountain Company talent acquisition team.
- Educate resort managers on seasonal and year-round hiring strategies.
- Communicate clearly and consistently via phone, email, and other channels to keep stakeholders informed daily.
- Assist the HR Front Office in warmly welcoming and assisting employees with employment-related questions in a courteous and safe manner.
- Support HR employee events as assigned.
- Assist applicants and employees with recruiting and onboarding systems, verify identity for I-9 forms, request work permits, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws during onboarding of new and returning staff.
- Partner with HR leaders to develop learning content, facilitate trainings, and maintain on-demand training resources for resort hiring managers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Internet Explorer.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements
