Intermodal Truck Driver Recruiter

The Intermodal Truck Driver Recruiter leads Wallport Transit Xpress's driver recruitment efforts, directing intermodal talent strategy and partnerships across Texas, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, and Alabama. This role reports to the CEO and aims to build a scalable, high-impact recruitment operation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment plans to attract skilled intermodal drivers and improve retention.
• Forge and manage strategic partnerships to sustain a robust candidate pipeline.
• Act as the primary recruitment contact for the designated territory, coordinating initiatives across teams.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with current drivers to support satisfaction and high retention rates.
• Build and lead a high-performing recruitment team, with a path to regional leadership opportunities.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in intermodal transportation recruitment.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal abilities.
• Leadership potential with the capability to scale and manage a regional team.
• 5+ years of experience in intermodal transportation driver recruitment.
• Willingness and ability to travel.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with a proven ability to work autonomously.
• Solid computer skills and familiarity with relevant software.
• Valid driver's license.
