CDL Driver Recruiter

Reveille Trucking Inc is seeking an experienced Driver Recruiter to source and hire qualified CDL Class A drivers. This hybrid role in Harlingen, TX focuses on guiding applicants from initial contact through orientation, while building relationships that strengthen hiring outcomes and help keep trucks staffed.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire qualified CDL Class A drivers.
• Manage applicants from first contact through orientation to support a consistent candidate experience.
• Advertise open positions on Indeed, Facebook, Craigslist, and other recruiting platforms.
• Conduct phone interviews and perform applicant pre-screening.
• Maintain frequent communication with prospective drivers using calls, text, and email.
• Develop and sustain relationships with CDL schools, referral sources, and industry contacts.
• Track recruiting metrics and use data to continuously improve hiring results.
• Collaborate with operations to understand current hiring needs.

Requirements

• Previous recruiting experience, with transportation industry experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and sales skills.
• Self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfort using recruiting software, social media, and online job boards.
• Ability to build trust and maintain long-term relationships with drivers.
