Recruiter - Direct Labor
Job Description
Direct Labor Recruiter in Dallas, TX onsite reports to the Recruiting Manager and focuses on sourcing and hiring non-exempt direct labor roles for Crown Technical Systems, a Flex Company.
Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of the Recruiting Manager, manage a range of direct labor recruitment activities to keep the hiring process efficient, effective, and fair.
- Support recruiting for non-exempt roles such as Mechanical Assembly, Electrical Wiring, Welding, and Warehouse.
- Create job advertisements, postings, and job descriptions.
- Screen and shortlist applicants, liaise with agencies, and coordinate interviews.
- Respond to recruitment inquiries while maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
- Contact candidates, arrange interviews, and help develop interview questions with the hiring team.
- Conduct interviews, verify references, and recommend top candidates.
- Provide feedback to unsuccessful applicants.
- Prepare materials for job offers.
- Represent the organization at job fairs and recruitment events.
- Ensure compliance with external regulations (OFCCP, EEOC) and internal policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an HR related function.
- Minimum 2 years of HR related work experience; recruiting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Workday or an Applicant Tracking System.
- Knowledge of sourcing techniques including Boolean search, LinkedIn, and alternative methods.
- Ability to identify top performers and assess cultural fit.
- Capability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and candidates.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to network and collaborate in a team environment.
