Job Description

Aspirus Health seeks a Physician Recruiter to join the Office of Provider Experience in Wausau, WI. The role focuses on recruiting and hiring providers—including NPs, PAs, physicians, and others—and serves as the recruitment-process subject-matter expert while collaborating with leadership to develop recruitment strategies. This hybrid position is based in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

  • Serve on the in-house provider recruitment team as part of the Office of Provider Experience (OPE).
  • In collaboration with the Aspirus Medical Group leadership team, act as a content expert for all processes and procedures related to provider recruitment.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies that support the strategic operating plan and medical staff development plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in recruiting, marketing, personnel or health care related activities is required.
  • Understanding of healthcare and the medical environment and computer proficiency is required.
  • Ability to work effectively with physicians and stakeholders at various organizational levels, including C-suite.
  • Ability to project a positive image of self and Aspirus and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism.
  • Ability to market Aspirus.
  • Must be self-motivated and committed to professional and personal growth.
  • Demonstrates strong initiative and accountability for responsibilities.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to assess priorities and adapt to frequent changes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow through and independently close assigned responsibilities.
  • Active standing in applicable professional organizations and networks, plus contemporary knowledge of industry trends.
  • Strong communication and listening skills; negotiation skills are required.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize duties.
  • Willingness to work early mornings and evenings as needed to enhance recruitment efforts.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
