Part-Time Recruiter / Employee Relations

Part-Time Recruiter / Employee Relations opportunity in Wyoming, MI (onsite) supporting recruiting and day-to-day employee experience for the Wellbuilt division.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and help hire qualified candidates for open roles within the Wellbuilt division.
• Learn the production floor to understand responsibilities, expectations, and requirements of each position.
• Partner with production managers and supervisors to clarify staffing needs and the qualities desired in candidates.
• Build knowledge across roles to accurately communicate job expectations to applicants.
• Support hiring for growth-created roles and positions opening due to employee turnover.
• Create and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
• Spend time on the production floor to observe roles, understand the work environment, and build relationships with employees and managers.
• Assist with employee relations by staying approachable, responsive, and available for questions or concerns from employees and managers.
• Follow up with candidates, hiring managers, and new employees in a timely manner.
• Work alongside the HR Generalist to complete onboarding activities, including benefit enrollment.

Requirements

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through.
• A strong communicator comfortable engaging candidates, employees, supervisors, and managers.
• People-oriented and approachable, able to build trust and relationships at all levels.
• Observant and curious, with a willingness to learn how the production floor operates rather than recruiting from a desk only.
• Ability to recognize what makes someone a good fit for a specific role and work environment.
• Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to identify staffing needs before urgency increases.
• Persistent with follow-up, candidate outreach, and maintaining a recruiting pipeline.
• A team player motivated to support company growth and long-term success.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment and willingness to spend time on the floor getting to know people and processes.

Schedule & Location

• Location: In person, Wyoming, MI
• Schedule: 30 hours a week
