Job Description

The Bilingual Independent Contractor Recruiter will oversee City Wide Maintenance of Cleveland’s independent contractor program, focusing on identifying, screening, credentialing, and onboarding both janitorial and non-janitorial contractors. This role requires close collaboration with operations to maintain accurate contractor rosters and documentation, with potential involvement in general office administrative and sales tasks.

Responsibilities

Recruit enough independent contractors to service City Wide’s janitorial and non-janitorial accounts.
Manage all IC recruiting activities across multiple channels, including online postings, email advertising, direct mail, and social media, to sustain a steady flow of candidates.
Conduct initial vetting and screening of prospective independent contractors in office settings, at career fairs, or remote locations.
Use the City Wide IC Checklist to onboard independent contractors by collecting, verifying, and filing required compliance documentation.
Enter and maintain independent contractor records in the CRM.
Inform the Operations team of new contractors to ensure timely placement.
Perform ongoing audits at 30, 60, 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year to ensure files are current and compliant with City Wide requirements.
Coordinate monthly IC pay day events with the Operations team.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be bilingual.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior recruiting or similar experience is highly desired; minimum one year of related experience is preferred.
A self-starter with strong attention to detail and follow-up.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Proficient with using social media to promote and recruit.
