Overview
As a frontline recruiter, you will own the front end of the staffing process for the designated site or region. You will partner with Operations and HR Field to understand hiring needs, manage the recruitment pipeline, and support onboarding for new hires from start to finish. The role involves coordinating recruiting activities, improving practices, and ensuring timely staffing to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with Operations and HR to address staffing needs
- Lead the frontline recruiting strategy for the assigned site or region
- Plan and execute high-volume job fairs, conduct interviews, and extend offers
- Administer background checks and drug testing where applicable
- Travel as needed to provide regional staffing support
- Work with Operations and HR Field to understand hiring needs and support staffing efforts directly or through a supervisor, assisting onboarding from start to finish
- Develop and share recruiting best practices with sites in need
- Schedule and chair staffing calls for sites with urgent hiring needs
- Keep HR Field informed of recruiting issues and escalate as needed
- Track open positions by region and maintain records in the applicant tracking system
- Prescreen, interview, hire, and onboard frontline employees as required by sites
- Manage confidential information related to non-exempt employees
- Coordinate with HR Field on background checks, drug tests, and new-hire approvals
- Train management on interviewing and hiring processes
- Conduct wage surveys to determine competitive market rates
- Collect and communicate recruiting statistics by geographic area
- Provide weekly reports of supported sites to managers and HR leadership
- Continuously seek ways to improve recruiting strategies
- Support transitions and travel to assist recruiting efforts as needed
- Support online recruiting strategies to attract candidates
- Coordinate job fairs or hiring events per site requests
- Maintain data on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, and hires
- Prepare and analyze statistical reports to monitor applicant flow, selection, and turnover
- Work on site or in SBM offices as applicable
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish
- People-driven with strong interpersonal skills
- Highly organized to manage multiple events, jobs, and sites
- Strategic mindset focused on improving site staffing
- Associate degree or six months to one year of related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- May require a valid driver’s license
