Prism Vision Group is inviting a seasoned talent acquisition leader to steer the recruiting function from its New Providence, New Jersey campus. This onsite role is focused on guiding full-cycle recruiting, strategic workforce planning, employer branding, and the technologies that power hiring, including the seamless integration of newly acquired groups into a unified model. The ideal candidate will build and lead high-performing teams while aligning recruiting efforts with enterprise goals and market realities.
Overview
The Director of Talent Acquisition will oversee all facets of recruitment, from strategy and process design to analytics and service delivery. This role requires a collaborative leader with strong business insight, data-driven decision making, and a proven track record of shaping talent strategy in growth environments, including integrations for acquired entities.
Position specifics
Location: on-site in New Providence, New Jersey.
Travel
Approximately 20 percent travel is required.
Compensation
USD 90,000 to 140,000 per year, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise-wide recruiting strategies aligned with business goals and growth plans.
- Partner with executive leadership and hiring managers to forecast hiring needs and workforce plans.
- Build scalable recruiting processes that improve efficiency, quality of hire, and candidate experience.
- Lead the strategic integration of talent acquisition for newly acquired groups, establishing scalable standards, governance, and service models that align with enterprise objectives while considering market-specific needs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters, coordinators, and sourcing specialists.
- Establish, monitor, and drive performance against enterprise recruiting KPIs measuring hiring effectiveness, team performance, service delivery, and business impact.
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative recruiting culture.
- Provide strategic leadership for the talent acquisition team, building organizational capability, strengthening leadership accountability, and ensuring the function meets evolving priorities.
- Lead organizational change and team integration across new members and acquired groups, shaping a unified culture, clear operating expectations, and consistent execution standards.
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment for leadership, technical, and high-volume needs.
- Optimize applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting tools, and workflows.
- Manage agency and vendor relationships and recruiting budgets.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and hiring regulations.
- Partner with central business office functions to design aligned recruiting support models, strengthen enterprise service delivery, and advance broader integration and workforce objectives.
- Strengthen the organization’s employer brand and recruitment marketing efforts.
- Create initiatives to enhance candidate engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with marketing and HR teams on talent attraction campaigns.
- Track and analyze recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, candidate pipeline health, and quality of hire; present insights to senior leadership.
- Monitor time-to-fill and time-to-start across priority roles and business segments.
- Assess quality of hire through new hire performance, retention, and hiring manager satisfaction.
- Evaluate recruiter productivity, requisition load, and service-level performance across the talent acquisition team.
- Ensure candidate experience and stakeholder satisfaction across enterprise and central business office partners.
- Analyze source effectiveness, pipeline conversion, and critical-role fill rates.
- Lead integration success for new groups, including process adoption, speed to stabilization, and hiring continuity.
- Monitor budget performance, agency utilization, and overall cost-per-hire.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 12+ years of progressive talent acquisition or recruiting experience.
- 5+ years of leadership or people management experience overseeing a talent acquisition function.
- Experience designing and implementing recruiting strategies at scale.
- Strong knowledge of ATS platforms and recruiting technologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
