Job Description

K & S Carriers & Logistics seeks a Safety and Recruiting Manager for an onsite role in Greenwood, WI, offering a salary range of USD 70,000 - 90,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end driver recruitment, including sourcing, screening, onboarding, and new-hire orientation
Ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance for driver records, drug and alcohol programs, and hours of service policies
Track CSA/SMS metrics and implement corrective action plans to prevent violations
Investigate incidents, coach drivers, and provide ongoing safety training
Develop a proactive driver talent pipeline to support fleet growth and reduce vacancies
Serve as the primary internal resource for compliance inquiries across the organization

Requirements

3+ years of experience in driver recruiting, fleet safety management, or a combination of both within the trucking industry
Strong working knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, and OSHA regulations
Experience with recruiting platforms such as Tenstreet, DriverReach, and Indeed, plus familiarity with ELD/telematics systems
Excellent relationship-building skills with drivers and leadership
Highly organized and self-directed, able to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision
CDS or NATMI certification is a plus; CDL-A is a plus
