Job Description

An on site HR Recruiting Specialist role with a growing food manufacturing operation in Corfu, New York. The position emphasizes full cycle recruiting and payroll, alongside day-to-day HR support.

Responsibilities

Own the complete recruitment process from sourcing and screening to interviewing and coordinating hiring decisions.
Maintain regular communication with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience.
Partner with hiring managers to assess staffing needs and define role requirements.
Identify candidates through job boards, local outreach, and referrals.
Conduct interviews, extend offers, and manage the onboarding process.
Develop talent pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill roles.
Keep accurate HR records and manage HRIS systems.
Prepare new hire documentation and ensure completion of required forms.
Coordinate onboarding orientation and set up system access for new hires.
Maintain accurate employee records within HR systems.
Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including wage calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings.
Maintain payroll records and ensure timely and accurate pay distribution.
Reconcile payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries.
Support audits and reporting requirements.
Participate in employee engagement activities.
Perform additional HR duties as assigned.

Requirements

Associate degree in Business or a related field.
Proficiency with payroll software; Paylocity experience is a plus.
Minimum experience: 3 years.
Three to five years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong confidentiality and discretion.
Highly organized and resourceful, with the ability to identify nontraditional recruiting opportunities.
Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
On-site presence required five days a week.
