COORDINATED CARE ALLIANCE NY INC is seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Partner to join onsite in East Syracuse, NY. This role offers a salary range of $83,000 - $88,000 per year, frequent travel across New York State, and close collaboration with hiring managers and HR leadership to meet staffing goals.
You will source, engage, and hire top talent across New York State, coordinating with leaders to design tailored recruitment strategies that align with staffing needs and organizational priorities. The position involves frequent travel to engage with candidates, participate in events, and represent the organization at external forums.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cold outreach to passive candidates and build rapport to spark interest in open roles.
- Leverage social media, job boards, employee referrals, and networking to identify qualified candidates.
- Maintain a robust candidate pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
- Travel to job fairs, college campuses, community events, and partner organizations to promote employment opportunities.
- Frequent travel across New York State to meet organizational needs.
- Represent the organization professionally and positively at external recruitment events.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly benchmarks for outreach, interviews scheduled, and hires made.
- Track and report key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness.
- Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interview logistics and maintain clear, ongoing communication with candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop tailored recruitment plans.
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (Paycom).
- Ensure compliance with EEOC, DOL, and internal hiring policies.
- Assist in developing and updating job descriptions and interview guides.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Hold a valid New York driver’s license, or a contiguous state license, or rely on public transportation to attend meetings in person as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3-5 years of full cycle recruiting experience, including cold calling and high-volume sourcing.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently across New York State, at least 30% of the time.
- Familiarity with behavioral interviewing techniques.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse range of individuals.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proactive, independent, and capable of meeting performance targets.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze recruitment metrics and act on insights.
- Strong time management skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience recruiting in healthcare, nonprofit, or human services sectors required.
- Experience recruiting in an OPWDD or DOH environment preferred.
- Experience with Paycom preferred.
