Job Description

Work onsite in Carteret, NJ while supporting hiring and onboarding at Gofo Inc. This HR Recruiter role combines hands-on candidate sourcing and interviewing with close collaboration across recruiting and HR processes. You’ll be part of a team that values clear communication and thoughtful coordination, with 401(k), health insurance, and paid time off included.

What you’ll do

Source and attract potential candidates using recruitment platforms and social media.
Conduct interviews to evaluate candidates’ qualifications and fit for various roles.
Collaborate with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies tailored to their needs.
Perform reference checks and background screenings for selected candidates.
Assist with negotiating job offers and crafting competitive compensation packages.
Support employee evaluation processes and provide clear, patient communication for HR inquiries.

What you bring

Fluent in English and Mandarin, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
0–2 years of recruitment or human resources experience (HR experience is a plus). 1–2 years is also listed as acceptable for recruitment or HR-related work.
Proficient in office software, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset to address employee inquiries effectively.
Familiarity with social media management for recruiting purposes.
Solid understanding of employee evaluation processes.
Effective negotiation skills for managing job offers and compensation discussions.
Strong familiarity with relevant labor and employment laws and regulations.
Bachelor’s degree or above (Human Resources Management, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Communication Studies, or related majors are preferred).
